Tai Chi

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a form of martial arts, which was originally practiced by ancient Chinese. It’s origin goes back a thousand years to the Taoist priests. It is now adapted as a very graceful form of exercise. Tai Chi consists of many motions and graceful moves. It is a very meditative form of exercise. This style is much more physically demanding than other forms of exercises. Tai Chi is also famously called “shadow boxing”.

Tai Chi has many health benefits. The beautiful and rhythmic motions let the mind earn peace and let the body go into a state where it relaxes. It is a great method to fight with the stress and anxiety caused by daily events. It also helps the muscles. It tones them and strengthens them. The artistic movements let the person develop a great sense of balance. It also helps with the posture. Latest researches have proved this technique quite useful in improving medical conditions like hypertension, digestive disorders, respiratory and even cardiovascular disorders. It also reduces the risk of dementia.

People who practice the art of Tai Chi regularly are more flexible and strong. Tai Chi also builds stamina in the body. It transfers the energy in every part of the body. A person feels better about themselves almost instantly. It reduces depression and makes a person calmer and happier than before. People who constantly complain of insomnia are also seen like this technique as it lets their mind get rest and it helps them to get a better good night’s sleep.
There are many different styles of Tai Chi practiced by people. Some of the most common forms are; Zhao Bao, Chen, Sun and Yang. All these styles have their own unique ways. They all offer the same peace of mind. Some of the styles include fast motion movements while others are soft movements. It is a form of exercise where the person is their own competitor. It is all about your own pace.

Tai Chi can be performed almost anywhere as it doesn’t need any large equipment’s. One can perform it in the privacy of their home or can go to a park. Tai Chi lessons are easily available online. One can do it anywhere any time. Some people form groups and perform Tai Chi together. Any age group can perform this exercise. With more and more practice, one can add more moves to relax their mind if they please.

Every research ever conducted on Tai Chi has always shown bright and positive results. It left a huge impact on the life of a person. People reported to feeling happy and felt a prominent change in their mind and bodily functions. With the right amount of dedication people develop high skills in Tai Chi and lead a much happier life.
